Gee!! Where's the plant? Did Mauro cut the plant off and left the flower alone on the pot?



Tcharaaam!!!! There it is, the plant, in its full, glorious 3 cm tall!!



As can be seen, some clones of the species can be really dwarf with comparatively gigantic flowers. See below the type flower.

The first is very beautiful, indeed. And do I note a bit of "Mauro" humor in this thread... what, a carry-over from another thread... twice in one day! My word, Mauro, too much of this exuberance and you'll wear yourself out!

They are all very small and compact plants, Steve, not much higher than 8-9 cm, but some are still smaller than the average!

Rosim. Very nice coerulea.

Years ago, I almost bought a coerulea with half as many bulbs ... until I counted the third zero on the price tag. And it wasn't in flower, so I didn't know if it was any good.

I believe you can find it for more reasonable prices now, Catwalker. Here, now, plants about to flower can be found for US15-20.
