I was remembering back when I was putting mine in SH at first. Their were a couple that lost some older leaves as they were getting established. I am thinking that what is happening to your is normal. As well as the older bulbs dessicating quiet a bit then after they were established the older bulbs did plump up a little not completely but a little.
