Default Buds look like tulips

This orchid reminds me of Spring on this rainy Autumn day. Buds look like tulips and the scent is like Spring flowers to me.

The second photo is of the open flowers last year when it was still growing in water culture, now it is grown in passive hydro in leca. It blooms on every new lead.

And the tedious name on the tag for this complex hybrid: Pot. (His Light x Sunstate's Ted and Alice) 'Carmela'

OR a newer tongue twister, and a curse in another language which this orchid does not deserve: (Rhynchosophrocattleya His Light X Thwaitesara Sunstate's Ted-and-Alice) 'Carmela'

That is a pretty yellow Cat. You fooled me. From the caption I was expecting to see an Angoloa. I do seen what you see what you mean. It does resemble a tulip.
