Default encyclia adenocaula and winter rest question

I have had mine for several years, but it only bloomed for one of them.

do you give it any water during its winter rest? an occasional spray? a soak when the pseudobulbs look a little dehydrated? or when the pseudobulbs really look dehydrated?

it is getting plenty of light under a 400w bulb

A nureryman I used to work for had great success with these in central Arkansas. As far as a winter rest they really didn't get one other than they were only watered when the bark mix that they were in was almost bone dry. They were never stessed to the point of dehydration (wrinkled bulbs). They received winter temperatures in the 50s at night and 60-70s during the day. I have not tried growing them myself but the the display at Fox Orchids was always impressive when it was their time to bloom.
