This is another nice one. Do you ever mount your violaceas? How do they do? I have one mounted and its just starting to take off, but more slowly than I would have thought.

I think they would do well mounted. I don't usually mount them, but I make sure that they are potted in very loose and coarse media with styrofoam chips on the bottom.

The reason I don't pot them is because they are heavy feeders and vigorous growers since we don't really have a winter. Once the plants are mature enough, many of them bloom 3 times a year. We sometimes bloom a few 4 times a year. That couldn't happen on a mount ... I don't think.

Bummer, I wish I'd known that about a year and half ago!! Maybe I'll just have to get another. lol
