C. violacea 'H&R' x 'H&R Giant'. A very good bloom of this seedling cross.

I think this is the cross I have. Are most of the siblings from this one pretty good?

Yes. Most are very good. They have good shapes and sizes. The color intensities may vary somewhat, but the colors are good.

Thank you for your kind comments.

Sorry for my late response. Like so many OB readers, I have been sitting here on the riverbank watching the fireworks ... not the very pretty kind, but they were hard to ignore.

Please feel free to offer comments to my posts. It's ok if our opinions or experiences differ, that's how we learn ... from having an open mind and being civil and respectful to each other.

Angurek. Violaceas have a fragrance. I can't really say that I love the fragrance. It's a little medicinal ... kind of reminds me of the clean but astringent smell when you go to a doctor's office. (Not an emergency room ... just a regular doctor's office). The smell's not real strong or bad or anything like that, just not my favorite. But the flowers are very showy.
