Default Cattleya schilleriana var. imperialis
This variety has redder flowers than the type, which is greenish brown. I have six leads on this plant, two of them with the buds still inside. The other four had 14 buds when a sudden front cold blasted five of them. When these kind of cold waves hit my area the temperatures easily fall 7-10º C whithin a period as short as 5 or 6 hours! Young buds commonly don't stand this.
