Cattleya schilleriana
This is representative of the type species. Fortunately, it has been artificially reproduced more than it was a few years ago and seedlings are now easily found here in Brazil. This is important to relief a little the pressure on the last known habitats. Despite that, the species continues dangerously close to extinction.
