Default Cattleya nobilior var. amaliae 'Dona Laura'
This is a beautiful Cattleya nobilior var. amaliae. The flower has good shape and a wonderful fragrance that reminds me that of anise. This variety, or sub-species for some, has always light lavender, some almost white, flowers. Laura is my grandmother, now a lovely 94 years old Lady!

Oh so lovely!! The color looks smooth and creamy. The lip is nothing short of spectacular!!!

This is the first time I ever see this species, otherwise I'll mistaken it with walkeriana. Love the branching pattern on the lip.
