Thumbs up

Hi Brenda,

Hey, why is yours blooming and mine isn't? Ha ha. We each bought one of these plants, do you remember? (on the 2nd trip). I didn't put mine outside, but it is growing a new pseudobulb at the moment. I was excited about that - but I guess that you picked the better plant. Good growing.

Paula

I would want that list too So far, Kawamoto and Hauserman left me good impression. I heard Carmela is good too, although I have never placed that large enough order which could average the relative expensive shipping fee.

I had a great deal with Smileys,
I think she deals most in Vandas being origially from Thailand... but she sent me a surprise division of C. Korat Spot....

I bought a nice Cat hybrid in bloom "Blc mem. " for 18 $ at parkside orchids as i was driving around there but for mail order shipping is expensive and that was the cheapest blooming size. but they have a lot of nice cattleyas.

on ebay i got this
Yam. Queen Adelia 'kiilani' BS - eBay (item 140338585906 end time Sep-03-09 18:58:46 PDT)
it was really big.

I got another one [den formosum] from orchidtn and i got large plants.

actually i checked has some nice plants

eBay Seller: orchidtn: Home Garden, Dolls Bears items on eBay.com

I bought also from billasia royal orchid club
he gets plants bare root from thailand that then get forwarded via florida to you. some have dry roots but if you order small plants it is 2 for 1.
ebay store cheaper than reg store and shipping schedule has slots so you gotta wait 3 weeks...

Larry's orchids i got 3 phal species and a masd. 2 had good roots and 2 little weak roots. but thephal equetris i got from him is growing fast and maybe has a tiny spike.

anyway in my experience I loved smileys. you have to email and ask what she has - you can look at slideshows on the website but there is no direct shopping from the site.
she sent me some extra keiki + divisions as a surprise with the order. Den hard cane NOID, pink florida native reed stem epi pink, Den nobile. small but really healthy gifts. what i choose has great roots and leaves.

well orchidtn had the best ebay plants.

got a nice laelia anceps from olympic orchids but those are mostly seedlings... small plants. if you just retired you may not live long enough to see them bloom....
