Well, I guess I blew the mystery. My post shows the image of the plant only. I guess some other people's show the image info and not the image.
It's a division of a violacea. Anyway, here's a picture of the flowers. They are about 5" (13cm) each. Besides the flower size, the size and shape of the leaves are amazing.

Yes it was. Few years ago, someone looked at the plant and asked if it was a Den speciosum because of the leaves.
I have seen hundreds of unrelated violacea plants, and I have only ever seen one other that looked like this (it wasn't this clone though). Felt like it was made of plastic or wax
The Baton Rouge orchid society has a portion of their show that awards fragrance (I think day and night separately) that is for their members only (they are sooooo insensitive). The first time I saw a C. violacea in the flesh, it also won a fragrance award at this show. A spectacular plant grown by Ervin Granier, it was truly breathtaking.
I'm not much of a cattleya fan, but this is an arresting and lovely flower.
