Default Cattleya lueddemanniana

I grow a few plants of this Venezuelan species, but think I should find some more to add to my collection. These light colored ones are larger than the darker and also very fragrant.

The best venezuelan specie of all the cattleya alliance. This one in particular is considered the coastal biotype, which grows in the mountain range very close to Caracas, still able to see on trees adjacent to pavimented roads accesing to paradisiac beaches. I am enclosing some pics I took early this year in one of their natural habitat. Mauro yours is really fantastic and I am sure you are enjoying the nice sweet morning fragance.

Mauro,

It is lovely. Would you consider this a coastal type?

Wonderful one. I love the colours, especially arround the lip.

Bruno, great pics of the natural location.
