I got the plant from Parkside Orchids last year around October and it was half the size of what it is now. It's first bloom was about 2 months ago. I guess that as the newer growths mature they are blooming.

Very elegant looking! I love it! It looks like it takes up quite a bit of space?

Not really Becca. The plaque that it's mounted in is about 4X6 and the leaves grow either up or forward and take about 16 to 20 inches but a tiny space at least for me. My Dendrobium spectabile takes more space than that.

Lucky you with all that space! In the mean time, I'll keep dreaming...lol.

Really nice Roly. I have been taking care of a friends' greenhouse and noticed one of these guys way in the back, and it was blooming. I just stared at it for the longest time. Very cool, and so is yours. Congrats on your beauty.

Thank you Joe !!! I had wanted this guy for a while and was hoping to see blooms last year but I guess it wasn't big enough then.

This is one of those plants that needs to be in every collection! Doesn't require much water, takes up very little space ('cause its usually mounted) and looks amazing! You must be doing something right for 2 blooms this year. Keep it up!
