I really love these concolor flowers. The delicate pink makes them very attractive to me. Besides that, this is a strongly fragrant species!

No question is a dumb question, Cattleya17, here or elsewhere!
Concolor is the Latin word for 'having the same color'. The lips in the Cattleya labiate alliance (C. warneri, labiata, lueddemanniana, mossiae etc) are of a different color compared to the rest of the flower, purple in general. When a mutation occurs and the lip has the same color of the rest of the flower it is said concolor.
