I'm not familiar with this one at all. It doesn't look rupiculous; which other Laelia is this one closely related to? Thanks in advance!

Probably closest to L. rubescens, sometimes considered a variety thereof. One of the 'real' Laelias.

Yes. It's sometimes called L rubescens v. aurea.
