Just a little advice and I know not many will agree with me on this, but if you are worried about the plant, sometimes blooming can disguise plants that are not up to 100%. I would cut the bloom if it is still on and all but one on each growth that does bloom from now on until you get the plant in a shape YOU think is acceptable. I read that by cutting blooms on all but a few growths i'd say keep 1 cane of blooms out of any 3 that bloom to keep the plant strong and cut the blooms as soon as you can see any of them. After the spike emerges, the plant has already used an enormous amount of energy and will use less for new growths. so if you want a stronger plant, cut most of the flowers off as they start which can be achieved by nipping the top of the growths with a pair of scissors to keep spikes from being induced at all. That way more energy will go to the plant itself and not the blooms. I would do that until you are satisfied with the growth and everything. I will be doing the same for most of my blooming plants just to keep them in good condition.
