Boy oh boy that mother plant looks great would love to see that thing in bloom. Suppose it is still alive cause this is an old thread.

I really believe the plant that started this thread is Laelia anceps or a hybrid dominated by anceps.

The plant link posted by OFC is now known as Myrmecophila galeottiana. In all cases above the "sawyeri" should have been lower case because the plant is a species, not a hybrid. There are no plants in genus Schomburgkia. Most are now Laelia except the hollow pseudobulb ones which are Myrmecophila.
