Default C aclandiae 'Midnite Coal Mine'

One of our aims with C. aclandiae is to breed very dark offspring. These petals are about as dark as possible.

The only dumb question is one that is never asked.

No. C. aclandiae is a species. Nothing else in the background. One of our breeding lines is to get really dark petals. Another line is for really nice spots ... at all times trying for very good shapes.

I always like Cattleya acclandiae for its spots but this one is no less lovely. Beautiful!
