Default Cattleya schroederae

This is a Colombian species very similar to the variety concolor of Cattleya trianae, another species found in Colombia. Except for the throat, which is of a beautiful golden-orange color, the entire flower is light pink. Apparently, there are really few known varieties of this species (at least that I have heard of), an alba and an albescens is all I know.
An impressive characteristic is the strong tutti-frutti fragrance the flowers emit!!

Really lovely, Mauro. I'm not as familiar with this species as I should be. Time to make more room.
