Love this one. The spike is like 4' and there are tons of flowers all along it, though the end is especially covered in blooms. Enjoy!!

Beautiful, Steve! I finally found one of these here! I already had Encyclia ambigua, which is similar to this, especially in the lip, but had never found alata available! Let's see what I got when mine blooms!

That is one beautiful alata! I love the openness and coloration of the lip segments, and like Royal mentioned, I can almost smell it from the photos!
