Hello fellow orchid fiends. It's been a while since I have shared anything......but I got this from Lowe's (in a little baggie) 2 or 3 years ago. It is Slc. Hsin Buu Lady 'Y.T.' and it surprised me with a spike and 2 flowers. To be honest, I had been just a big neglectful of my orchids lately. It is very hard to get the color true on the photograph, and had to use my cell phone, but here it is. The flower really isn't as huge as it looks, it's close to 4" though. The first cattleya type that's ever bloomed for me.

I love the color too. They're lovely blooms and your plant looks very healthy. You've done a great job bringing your baggy orchid to life. I've had luck with a few baggies myself.

In order to get true color in photo or video. You could place a white card right in front of the subject then adjust the White Balance (WB for short) until the white card in your camera is white then you are all set. I don't know dose ur cell phone has this function or not. But any still/video camera should have this function.
