Cattleya lueddemanniana
This is a first flower seedling. The flowers are not so large as the lighter colored ones, but the solid, dark lip color is awesome to me! Also, very fragrant!

Mauro, those are fantastic. If only I could provide this species with the warmth it requires in the winter, I would order several of them today. What size is your plant (number of pseudobulbs, leaf and pseudobulb length, etc.)?

Steve, as I said, this is a seedling flowering for the first time, so the plant is reaching maturity now. It has seven progressively higher pseudo-bulbs, all leafed, starting in 3" and ending in 8.8" (the flowered lead, without the blooms). The leading bulb itself is 4.2 high plus 4.6" of the leaf. For you to have an idea of the horizontal size, it is planted in a 4" pot and is reaching the rim by now.

Very nice Rosim. You say it's a first bloom but even then it's still a relatively short plant and good sized flowers.
