I've been holding my breath in anticipation for over a month now.
My Schomburgkia thomsoniana's latest growth looks very promising. The pseudobulb is big and fat (twice as big as the other ones), and it's sheath has remained plump and healthy looking. I am so hoping for a bloom out of this one.
Does anyone know how long it generally takes a Schom. to go from sheath to spike?
This plant also has one newly developing pseudo and is in the process of initiating 3 other growths. Any thoughts as to whether the new growths will cancel out the potential for flower production this time around?
