Default Slc Bright Angel x Blc Bryce Canyon ‘Spendiferous’

Now called Rlc. Darkling (Rlc. Bryce Canyon x C. Bright Angel)

I like the grex name - Rlc Darkling

This is the first time flowering and I must admit I was expecting a much better flower with more substance, better shape and more intense colour. I will hold on to it for a couple of years to see if there is improvement. What do you think???

I like it. The lip has good colour and I like the pink of the petals.

I would agree, that it's worth giving it a chance to see if it's later flowerings do a little better with substance and shape.

Thanks, I think most plants are worth keeping for a couple of years. I know most people just grow them for the joy but for some superficial reason I love showing them as well.

In all honesty I would have to agree with you , D, I would be rather disappointed in this flowering but would give it a year or so to see if it improves.
