Wow... your plant looks great! How is the scent? Mine had its first bloom when I bought it this past March. Over the summer it has put out a HUGE new growth with three large leaves, and lately I've been bloom boosting with fertilizer and epsom salt. I hope for a great show soon! Congrats! This is one awesome green plant!

"pungent" is probably the best word. Surprisingly strong for just a single flower. Not sure if I like the scent, but I don't hate it either

Uh-oh. I hope mine doesn't do that. I was told it was a minicatt. I really don't have the space for a large grower. Guess I'll just have to wait and hope mine isn't an overachiever.

Haha! I thought the same thing about the scent! When I bought it at the show, the grower insisted that I smell the flower, and I wasn't too pleased. Its not a horrible smell, but not all that appealing! Still, I couldn't resist the lovely green color.

As far as this size, it is still a mini-catt, but the new growth is much larger in relation to the rest of the plant. I doubt it will ever get more than 12" tall, maybe 14" with flowers. Despite the pungent smell, I love this plant!!!

That's far beyond "mini"! Nope, I'll have to tell mine to think small.

Thought I would give this a I just got one at my local market and the flower was very aromatic. The flower faded and I put it up high on a shelf. To my amazement last night while taking a look at it I have a new spike coming out. I so stoked because when I first purchased it. it only had one flower and I didn't get to enjoy it that long. YEA!!!!
