Dave.
When I saw your little photos, I said ... "That's not B. David Sander ... completely wrong daisy shaped red flower! Ohhhh! Your plant's still in bud!"

Congrats Dave!

I'm looking forward to seeing a pic of the bloom!

I bought one of these from Plantio La Orquidea a year ago next month...with no blooms yet, although one may be coming soon. It just put out a big new growth that's not fully developed yet. Seeing yours gives me hope.

PS With the name changes that have been going around, it's considered to be a Rhynchovola (Rcv.) now.

Dave, this is the kind of anticipation that you've just got to share. That looks like it's going to be a pretty good size bloom. I love Brassovolas, never heard of this one....I just might have to have one.

Congratulations! I'll be looking out for the pics on this one!

It finally opened this morning. And I can't be happier. No scent as of yet!

Just to clear up any misunderstanding, This plant was not named after me, but we do share the same name.
