Lc. Angel Heart 'Hihimanu' (Puppy love x C. Penny Kuroda)

First bloom on a seedling I got 3 years ago from H&R. Very special for me since another clone was a favorite in a previous orchid collection I had.




Heavy crystaline substance and a strong complex perfume that reminds me of lilacs, certain times of the day. The plant itself has the most beautiful bifoliate form I have seen, a little over a foot tall now.

Susanne, It is interesting to compare it to your H&R cross, Lc. Ann Akagi, photo below, which is Puppy Love x walkeriana. I had this one too in a previous collection and still miss it, so please upload photos of the next blooming on yours.

That's really lovely Maria. I don't normally go for floofy chids but I really like this one. The color shading is really nice. With Penny Kuroda in the background I would have expected some spotting.
