Default Cattleya (Summer x aclandiae)

Last blooming only gave me one flower. This time around I got three! These are nice and big. Gotta love those spots.

Yeah, you're not to first to point that out to me. I have a Summer Spot as well and I've been waiting to compare them in person. It is possible that this one came mislabeled, but the vendor is usually pretty reliable. It could just be the aclandiae influence that makes them so similar. I think the background color is a bit different though.

Summer Spot (2004) = Summer Stars ('62) x aclandiae

...but C. Summer (1946) = Falco ('15) x Nutley (35')

Very nice Royal.

If you remember my "This is disappointing" Catt, did the petals and sepals on yours start off with a lot of green? Mine ended with more purple in the petals still greenish in the sepals.

BTW I like and will start to use your naming convention (Flash, No Flash).
