Cattleya blooming question...?
Hi Everybody!
I have a NOID Cattleya that has gotten very large since last summer. Around February, it put out 3 new growths, but didn't receive much light until the end of May, when the plants moved outside. The growths have matured to a very large size... larger than the previous growths. However, all three have very small, weak sheaths, and I'm worried that the lack of light early in the season may have stunted them. I have recently bumped up the sun exposure and I have been fertilizing with bloom booster and epsom salts to promote flowering, but I am unsure if the plant will do anything. Last year it bloomed twice, so I am hoping for a great bunch of flowers soon. What would one expect my chances to be for this to happen? Will it bloom?!?!?!?! Thanks!!!
