I grow this one pretty bright and mounted in a wood basket with no media. Grows really well! I've got 2 flowers this year on this plants second year of blooming.

Gorgeous!!

You say "pretty bright"...you wouldn't happen to know what fc you have it growing under...would you?

I have this one but it doesn't appear to want to bloom for me. I bought it in bloom last summer...July I believe. This year no signs of blooming yet and I believe it's a light issue.

Mine is grown outside under high Cattleya light conditions. I have to admit, however, that the area has become fairly weedy and the keawe tree (mesquite) above it has become more dense than I care to see, so these guys can take lower levels of light and still bloom. I was growing it in just about full Hawaiian sun all day long though. Thats how I normally grow my Brassavolas and Rhyncolaelias.
