Blc. Malworth 'Orchidglade'
Old classic yellow (registered in the 60's), it was extensively used in the 80' as a parent. It has given yellow beauties like Pot. Luna Jaune and Pot. Huansuan. Nevertheless, it seems that (at least according to my experience) in part of the crosses it enters the progeny presents a considerable number of plants with deformed flowers.

My experience with this plant is that it is very nice but not the best breeding plant. As you mention, it was commonly used but not as successful as other yellows.

Hi Mauro!
I love this one! I almost lost mine (due fungus infection), but fortunately I could save a small back 'piece', that is growing well. Congrats!

Performance champions are not necessarily great breeders for the same traits. Examples are easily found in plants, thoroughbred horses ..... and so on... and on....
