This plant was given to me years ago by the eldest member of our local society who has since passed on. The leaves look like B. nodosa and it is very slow growing, producing only one new growth per year. A nice plant to have if you are pressed for space. I cannot find it registered on RHS and I don't have Orchidwiz "yet". Anyone who has Orchidwiz and wants to do me a favor please look it up for me.
Jerry there's a Blc. Fran's Lemon Drop, a Blc. Malvarosa Lemon Drop, and Blc. Samba Lemon Drop. No pictures. There are a few others also with Lemon Drop in the name, but no pictures.
Terri, I don't believe that it is a Blc. because of the small size and very slow growth process. Although it does not reflect in the picture, the texture is rather waxy/shiny and with the spade like lip it might have Brassovola glauca it it. Thanks for trying.
Looks like the other parent is maybe a yellow Gur. [C.] aurantiaca. I know one way that cross is Bc. Bill Worsley, maybe the other way it's Lemon Drop. The name is familiar, maybe try searching RHS without genus names, just the grex. That way you don't run into spelling or new nomenclature issues.
