Default Prosthechea Elfin

Hi Everyone
Just wanted to share the Prosthechea Elfin I purchased a few weeks ago. Can't take credit for the blooms, but I can take credit for not killing the spike before it opened!

I'm not familiar with this one, but what a beauty! It reminds me of the Encyclia 'green hornet'...kinda, sorta. What are the growing conditions for this one. I really like it! I'm also interested on how long the blooms last, so keep me posted???? Thanks for sharing!

It is a cross between Prosthechea cocleata and Prosthechea prismatocarpa. The blooms have been opening for about the last month, not too sure how long they last but they seem quite healthy still, I will keep you posted. As for conditions I keep it with my Catts under about 2000fc, in intermediate conditions. I have heard recently that they like a little moisture everyday, so Ihave been trying that out for the last two weeks with both of my Prosthechea's, as I have a cochleata as well, and they both seem to be growing quite quickly with the new watering regime.
