Default Peloric form of Cattleya loddigesii

Not everybody likes peloric orchids because, for some reason, the idea of monstrosity has been tied to these flowers. Nevertheless, there's another way to look at these orchids if you think that tri-lipped orchids represent nothing more than an attempt to achieve the lost floral symmetry and that's why pelory is so common in orchids in my opinion. Here's an example of a tri-lipped C. loddigesii with a beautiful look.

It sure is interesting. I don't like all pelorics, but this one has a subtlety to it that I enjoy.

That one looks great. I'm with Royal, I don't like all pelorics but others are really nice, and that includes this one.
