Thats a great looking blue! I didnt know this species had a caerulea color form.

Steve, until now a few color varieties are known: alba, semi-alba, caerulea, flamea (or pincelada). I've heard of a concolor variety, but never saw it.

Here's a seedling I bloomed. I guess it's also coerulea.

Beautiful.
Compared with other species cattleya, C. jenmanii is seldom grown here in Taiwan.

This spring I bought a couple Cattleya jenmanii and one of them is .... yes, exactly  , Cattleya jenmanii var. coerulea "Pedra Azul". Only thing I have to do now is to wait a couple of years ....

Gena, you will love the flowers, especially their sweet perfume (very different from C. labiata fragrance!)
