Yes, you have been lucky to have that magnificient Maxima. Potential for an award is right on the corner. Congratulations Mauro!!!
My Maxima is far less desirable because it belongs to the low land section, it puts quite a show every year due to its floriferous behavior, but nothing like yours that I guess comes from the high altitude.

Yes, RGonzales, this is from the highlands. But lowland ones have their unique beauty, especially in the lip in my opinion. As to the form, some lowland clones are as good as this dark, like 'DZR' (Cattleya maxima 'DZR')
