Thanks all for your comments.
This plant is grown outdoors with the rest of my cattleyas under 50% shade. The prismatocarpa like most of my orchids is grown in orchid bark with some perlite in a plastic pot. I water my adult plants about twice per week. All my plants are fertilized weekly all year round with a weak solution (about 1/2 teaspoon per gallon) of foliar fertilizer. I use the Michigan State University formula fertilizer 13-3-15. The average temperature is my area is in the mid 80s . The temperature rarely goes above 90 degrees and below 70 degrees. The plant has very little fragrance.
Good luck on your flask. The blooms will be something to look forward to.
