I find something about this specie really catches my eye, has a very soft appearance and when you look inside the lip it appears it has fangs or razor teeth of sorts. please excuse the insanity

Don't worry, Suzie! We, orchid lovers, have this poet vein otherwise we wouldn't be orchid lovers!!!

Mine are planted in clay pots using sphagnum moss mixed with 30% of small Styrofoam peanuts, just the same way I grow my other laelias. I use Styrofoam peanuts to avoid compactation and facilitate drainage. I water them almost every other day from October until April, the hot months here in the southern hemisphere , slowing down to one/two times a week during the cold months (may through September).
