Cattleya loddigesii 'Iza'
This is a fine loddigesii that resulted from crossing two selected clones ('Vera Lucia' x 'Senhorita'). Very slow grower, thick leaves and pseudo bulbs, flowers with heavy substance and large segments point out to a poliploid. I grow two other plants of this cross, also very fine ones with similar characteristics.

Mauro,
I think I'd like to tour your growing area with an empty back pack this time of year! Gorgeous plants.

Come on over, Brenda! There's only the little problem of my fierce Dragon, you know? He lets people in the grh, but never out without the secret word...

Mauro, I have a feeling that if we ever got into your greenhouse, no one would want to leave, anyway.

That is very fine, Mauro. Interesting how the mid-rib of the petals is so prominent. Neat ruffled edges too.
