Default Cattleya Summer Spots

Here's a "baggie" orchid blooming for me for the first time. Enjoy.

Hi,
Gorgeous flower! I just love spotted cattleyas! I am looking for shorter, spotted cattleyas (hybrids) and was wondering how tall this one gets to be.

Thanks,
Paula

I'd say its compact. Without measuring I'd say it's about 10".

Nice save Royal! You're going to love this one. It blooms 3-4 times a year....pretty much from every Pbulb it matures.

It is pretty compact in height like Royal said, but I think it has the potential to be a rambler. You could end up with quite a few divisions to give away or sell.

when you say "baggie" , it means you have found it thrown away ? (i try to improve my english)

It's how some large chain garden centers sell orchids, hangin on a rack in a plastic bag. They normally sell only popular clones, but every once and a while you find a gem.
