Lc. Canhamiana (coerulea) 'Azure Skies' AM/AOS
This one was a nice surprise. Bought it at our annual orchid auction. Has 6 flowers fully open now with another 3 sheaths yet to pop. Last potted was 9/05, maybe negligence is best for some of these. Will get in new medium once it's finished flowering. Smells incredible.

Thank you for the nice comments, yes, I'm really fortunate and enjoying it. SP, I must admit I'm a bit of a computer/camera retard, so I will try to post a larger pic...but my understanding is that we had to make the pictures smaller in order to post them on the board??? I'll give it a try.

It certainly looks incredible. Wish you could put the smell in as an attachment to your post. Will just have to go out and buy myself one to experience it. I love these colours, so very nice. Blues are my favourites.

Brenda. Very nice and relatively compact ... with that color parents must have been mossiae v. coerulea x L purpurata v werkhauseri ... to get that color lip.
Visited your orchid society years ago to give a talk. Arrived late afternoon ... lectured at the Psychiatric Hospital auditorium ... then out the next morning. But I remember that your London even had a River Thames ... and very nice people.
