Myrmecohpila tibicinis
I can't help but post this again. Every Father's day this plant is in full bloom. It lives about 3 blocks away and I get to drive by it everyday. This is the most bloom's I ever seen on it. The owner gave me a 3 Pseudobulb division and I mounted it on my Palm tree. It grew 5 new bulbs since I mounted it but no spikes

Wow, that's great. Those side lobes on the lip are too cool. Must be nice to be able to just nail em' to a tree.

Love 'em in situ! How long are the flower stems? I can't tell if the stems are 'short' for a Schombo or if the plant is just so huge that it dwarfs the normally long stems!! Amazing specimen plant for sure though!

He has alot of the these orchids hanging on other trees and a couple of the smaller plants have spikes almost 7ft. long. The ones on the specimen plants spikes are 3 to 5ft long.

Wow, that's quite spectacular, Dave! Must be nice to live in that climate and just put them on a tree.
