Gorgeous, what a show! That is one I have to keep in mind and should do some research on. How do you culture it?
The color of the flowers is stunning :-)

Grow unicum as a warm-intermediate nobile type den. Plant is deciduous and without leaves late fall to late spring in temperate climates. Even in warmer climates, any seasonal change will result in leaves dropping completely or at least partially.

Fine roots are good for mounting, not for burying. Grow warm in bright light. Feed and water liberally when plant is in active growth during summer. When leaves drop, keep canes and roots hydrated, but do not overwater. After leaves drop, plant will experience dormant period. Do not feed after leaves drop, especially when flower spikes begin to emerge directly from canes ... otherwise buds will turn into keikis and blooming will be curtailed. When buds start emerging and when flowers bloom, be sure plants are hydrated, otherwise buds and flowers will dry out.

I can't believe I missed this thread all this time!

That is absolutely gorgeous...and I'm SO jealous!

This is, for some unknown reason, one chid that I have trouble growing. I don't know why but I've killed three!

I may have to try again

That's one of the nicest D. Unicum's I've seen.
Thanks for sharing the picture and thanks for the help with culture.

Wow! that is one very impressive specimen. The largest plant that I ever saw was a tiny little thing growing on a tiny piece of cork.

I have Den. loddigesii that is about the size of your plant and is an entangled mass of flowers in the spring. It is growing on a piece of tree fern and needs re-potting. Not knowing how to attempt it, I just added some large chunks of sphagnum all over the plant and secured them with fine fishing line. I think the plant likes it because it has responded very well.
