Default Bc. Daffodil, nice yellow primary

Here it is flowering again this plain yellow hybrid between former Brassavola glauca and former Cattleya aurantiaca. Since I saw it for the first time, years and years ago, I fell for it!

I can see why it has Daffodil in it's name. But it's so much prettier that the common Daffs we have in our garden.

I love the colour on this one and it has a lovely shape

I think I'm falling for it too, Mauro. Was this one made with the yellow form of aurantiaca, or was it the typical orange and it just got diluted by the other parent?

I can't say exactly, Royal, but I believe it has been used the regular aurantiaca orange color. It is a well-known fact that Brassavola glauca dilutes the other parent's color in the crosses it participates directly.
