Default C. Summer Spot 'Carmela'

This Catt has been very prolific. The last 3 bloom cycles it has only given me a single flower. This time I got 3. Thanks to Jerry for the tip on giving it a bit more water as the sheath develops. That seemed to do the trick!

Nice flower and beautiful picture. The natural setting in the backround really enhances the flower.

Looks great, Terri! This is one of the few Catts I have, but one I really love. My older daughter, Rachel, gave me the plant last year for Father's Day. It was in bloom at the time. It bloomed again in December, and yet again about a month ago. A second lead now has four buds.

Terry

I like the form even better this time. You really have a beautiful clone and seem to be able to bloom it to perfection.

I have yet to succeed with a spotted aclandia hybrid and have to put it on my wishlist. About how tall is the plant now?

Nice picture Terri. What a great combination of the spot color with the background.

Thanks for your nice comments everyone. I really do like this one a lot.

Maria, the plant is only about 12" tall not including the spike. I do think at the rate it kicks out new growths that it's going to be a rambler. It'll be big enough to divide in no time!
