It's a mat forming species like schlechterianum. Are there others with this habit?

What is the difference between this species and schlecterianum ?
The flowers on this one look almost identical to one of the schlecterianums that I have...

I'm not sure. I have not had my E schlecterianum flower. The leaves themselves are much larger on the longirepens.
