C. jenmanii ??? Male
Default C. jenmanii ???

This is another plant that I got from Tom Fennell (Orchid Jungle) many years ago. It was labeled "C. luedemanniana". It bloomed out the beginning of May. My other lueddemannianas finished blooming for me in April. It also didn't have the characteristic "horns" holding the pollen cap in place. I think it's jenmanii. It bloomed from a new growth and from a green sheath.

Any thoughts?

Mmmm, I'm no expert, and while your lovely blooms looks the jenmanii part, I though that jenmanii bloomed in the fall/early winter—November to December-ish...?

Seriously gorgeous—as in take your breath away—Catt, whatever your plant is... Really makes you remember the golden days of Catts when the shapes were more natural...

How wide across are these blooms...?

Really a LOVELY bloom, thanks so much for sharing...!

I have to check the original image properties to see when I took the picture. It was a while ago. I should have noted the bloom date. (That's really important!)

I didn't measure the flowers, but they were large in relation to the plant.
