Default Light Level Help Needed

Hi All
I just recieved a couple of new chids this morning. I recieved a Catt Guatemalensis and a Laelia tenebrosa. Can anyone of the OrchidWiz users advise the footcandle range for these chids?
Thanks in advance!!

Sure, no problem!
But I'm confused, orchidwiz has 2 entries for this catt (now called Guarianthe instead of Catt), one as a species, the other as a hybrid of C. aurantiaca and C.skinneri. The species entry has no light info, but for the other, the parents both take 2500-3500fc, so the Guatemalensis should be the same.
As for the Laelia, it takes 3500-4000fc.
Hope that helps you.

Helps perfectly Camille!! Guatemalensis is a natural occuring hybrid between aurantiaca and skinneri so it makes sense! Thanks so much, I dunno what I would do without the help of the board, besides buying my own copy of Orchidwiz....

That sure clears things up, I didn't know it was a natural hybrid! If you ever need more information from Orchidwiz, don't hesitate to ask, I'm more than willing to help. I'm always looking for an excuse to drool over more orchid pics and enlarge my wishlist!
