Default Bro sanguinea var aurea...with a twist ;)

I bought this plant, in bloom, 2 yrs ago. The salmon color was outstanding and I just HAD to have it! It took a few months of care once those blooms were gone and I did have it re-bloom...again in that gorgeous salmon color.

Advance to the past weeks here...

a few weeks back, I saw that it has two spikes growing!
Then we had 14 days of gray skies and lots and lots of rain. One of the spikes started budding and they looked very light. I was thinking maybe the lack of sunshine had something to do with the change in color...this is the set of blooms that popped up first:



Those have been in bloom for over a week and are starting to show a little wear. So...the second spike starts turning very dark and I'm thinking it's gonna blast
Thankfully, something else grabbed my attention and I left the plant alone. It bloomed today...and here's the bloom:





I bought it in salmon, I bloomed it in salmon and now I have this:
