Nearly lost this plant to scale and bacterial rot last year, but it has made a nice comeback

I know how you feel. I almost lost mine about a month ago to rot but i managed to salvage a few backbulbs and it's finally showing signs of growth... sigh. I coouldn't think of losing that plant. I love it!
